Are you surprised? The Coconut crab receives its name thanks to its ability to crack the coconuts and eat them with their massive pincers. This type of crab is found in the tropical Indian and Pacific Ocean and can be as big as 3 feet from head to tail, weighing 40 pounds!
These big crab is also known as the robber crab because they sneak into houses to steal shiny items, like for example silverware. Although they can climb trees, they only eat coconuts when they fool to the ground.
