Santa Monica Place. Macerich opened the new Santa Monica Place today. There was a large turnout for the new luxury shopping destination. The 524,000 square-foot, three-level, open-air retail and dining destination opened with over fifty retailers and restaurants. The stores include Bloomingdale's, Barneys Co-op, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, kitson, Nike, CB2, Ted Baker, Juicy Couture and Hugo Boss. You can see Bloomberg's Santa Monic Place store here. Nordstrom will open at Santa Monica Place on August 27th. Tory Burch and Tiffany & Co. will open stores in September.
